Job Responsibility
Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately using tax software
Interview clients to gather financial and personal information
Review tax documentation (W-2s, 1099s, receipts, etc.) for accuracy and completeness
Clearly explain returns, refunds, and tax outcomes to clients
Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data
Respond to client questions and resolve basic tax-related issues
Promote additional services when appropriate (e.g., refund options)
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and filings
Support general office operations including scheduling, phone support, and admin tasks
Stay current on tax laws, compliance requirements, and training updates
Requirements
Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license required
Prior experience preparing individual tax returns
Strong client service and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
