Looking to leverage your Enrolled Agent (EA) license in a high-impact, client-facing role? We're partnering with a well-established tax services firm seeking an Enrolled Agent to support their busy tax season—with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. This is a great opportunity for an EA looking to maximize earnings during tax season while building a path toward long-term stability and growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and file individual tax returns accurately using tax software
  • Interview clients to gather financial and personal information
  • Review tax documentation (W-2s, 1099s, receipts, etc.) for accuracy and completeness
  • Clearly explain returns, refunds, and tax outcomes to clients
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive financial data
  • Respond to client questions and resolve basic tax-related issues
  • Promote additional services when appropriate (e.g., refund options)
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and filings
  • Support general office operations including scheduling, phone support, and admin tasks
  • Stay current on tax laws, compliance requirements, and training updates

Requirements

  • Active Enrolled Agent (EA) license required
  • Prior experience preparing individual tax returns
  • Strong client service and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Conduct detailed client assessments to understand financial circumstances, compliance gaps, and resolution opportunities

  • Proactively request, gather, and review client documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and readiness for submission
