Job Description

As an experienced English tutor, you will be required to plan and deliver Funtional Skills English courses across a range of levels (Entry 3 - Level 2) in an inspiring manner; you will support your learners to achieve their full potential and create a positive and engaging learning environment. The job role will include contributing to the continued development of the department, providing tutorial support for learners, and carrying out the associated administrative tasks connected with the position.

Job Responsibility

  • Support learners to achieve their full potential and create a positive and engaging learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering English to adult learners
  • Minimum L3 English or equivalent
  • Minimum level 3 Education and Training qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in English
  • Establish effective working relationships with people at all levels
  • Monitor, support and record learner progress
  • Provide innovative and stimulating training
  • Work as part of a team to achieve timely results
  • All positions are working with learners aged 19+
