Job Description:

A welcoming, modern Secondary School in the borough of Hounslow is on the hunt for a bright, outgoing English Teaching Assistant to join their incredible team. You will be learning and supported by expert colleagues with specialist knowledge, who all share the same goal – to inspire and motivate their pupils, providing them with the best educational experience possible. This secondary school has a fantastic reputation for their teacher training and career progression opportunities within the school. After the academic year, there will be the chance to enrol onto a Salaried Teacher Training course, commencing September 2025.

Job Responsibility:

Lead small intervention groups (including GCSE and A Level)
Assist in the classroom with general TA duties
Support pupils with SEN in the classroom

Requirements:

Must have a English related degree
Good A Levels & GCSEs
Confident with your knowledge and ability in your specialist subject to lead and support pupils at GCSE and A Level
Excellent communication skills to liaise with class teacher about pupil progress
Outgoing, committed and a genuine passion for helping students strive
