Job Description:

An Outstanding Secondary School in Tower Hamlets are seeking an English Teaching Assistant and aspiring English Teacher who they can train throughout the year as an English Teaching Assistant, working specifically within KS3, KS4 and KS5 English Lessons, as well as supporting students with SEN in their English studies.

Job Responsibility:

Working specifically within English lessons
Supporting in class as well as out of class with interventions
Working across KS3 & KS4 + KS5 1:1 support bi-weekly
Working closely with pupils both in class on a 1:1 and group level
Providing group interventions outside of the classroom
Supporting students with SEN in their English studies

Requirements:

English Graduate with a 1st class or 2:1 degree
Strong academics are essential
Interested in working with students of all abilities
Positive role model who can work with integrity
Aspiring teachers
