Job Responsibility
Deliver engaging pre-planned English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, without the burden of planning, grading, or parents' evenings
Gain experience in a range of secondary settings, from large academies to smaller schools
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification with a specialism in English
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to confidently deliver the secondary English curriculum
Effective classroom management strategies to quickly engage students and foster a positive learning environment with new classes
A flexible, proactive attitude and a willingness to adapt to different school policies
A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or the willingness to apply for one)
