English Teacher | KS3 & KS4 | Top-Tier CPD & Support. Are you an ambitious English Teacher looking for a school that actually invests in your professional development? We are looking for a dedicated practitioner to join a high-performing English Department where collaboration is the standard, not the exception.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and execute lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE English specifications
Use assessment data to bridge attainment gaps and support student growth
Maintain a focused, inclusive learning environment using effective behaviour management strategies
Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the holistic wellbeing of students

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Degree: BA/MA in English Literature, Language, or related field
Experience: proven history of teaching English in a UK secondary school setting
Compliance: valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) and commitment to safeguarding

Nice to have:

SEN experience
sixth form experience
FMS experience
SIMS experience
teaching assistant experience
key stage 5 experience
A-level specification knowledge
partake in extra curricular activities
