Job Responsibility
Deliver engaging, high-impact English Language and Literature lessons that foster critical analysis and strong literacy skills
Step in seamlessly to assess, monitor, and report on student progress with constructive feedback
Establish a vibrant, well-managed classroom environment where high standards of behaviour are the norm
Collaborate efficiently with Blackpool department heads on lesson handovers, resources, and pupil updates
Maintain complete professionalism, keeping safeguarding and student welfare at the center of your work
Requirements
Full UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) paired with a degree in English or a related field
Proven experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
Exceptional adaptability to pick up existing schemes of work and build rapport with pupils instantly
A strong classroom presence and proven behavior management techniques
A current Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (essential for an immediate start)
