English Teachers Needed | Chester & Cheshire West. Are you a passionate English Teacher looking for a rewarding role in the historic city of Chester? We are recruiting English Teachers for various secondary schools across the region, from city-centre academies to rural village colleges.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver high-impact English Language and Literature lessons to secondary students
Plan and prepare creative resources tailored to various learning abilities
Provide constructive marking and feedback to support student progress
Maintain a positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school community

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status
A University degree in English or a related field
A valid Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply
Proven ability to inspire students and a strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
