We are currently scouting for talented, forward-thinking English Teachers to take up exciting roles within our partner secondary schools in Maghull (L31). Whether you are a fresh ECT ready to make your mark or a seasoned educator looking for a change of pace, we have the classroom waiting for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and delivering lessons for Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9), GCSE (Years 10-11), and potentially A-Level (Years 12-13). This includes teaching grammar, creative writing, and literary analysis
  • Adapting teaching materials to suit a wide range of abilities
  • Marking books, grading mock exams, and providing constructive feedback to help students improve
  • Attending "Parents Evenings" to discuss academic progress and writing termly reports for every student you teach
  • Foster an inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can excel

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status- QTS or QTLS
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (on update service check) OR willingness to get one
  • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
