Job Responsibility:
Dynamic Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons, ensuring all students are effectively supported
Progress Monitoring: Assess, monitor, and report on student progress with clear feedback aligned to school standards
Classroom Culture: Cultivate a dynamic classroom environment and maintain high standards of behavior and learning culture
Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues on lesson handovers, resources, and student updates
School Contribution: Contribute positively to the school rhythm while adhering to all policies and procedures
Requirements:
Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in English
Proven Experience: Teaching English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
Adaptability: Strong ability to pick up existing schemes of work and build rapport quickly
Presence: An inspiring classroom presence with excellent behavioural management skills
Compliance: A current Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
