Job Description:

Randstad Education is proud to partner with a leading co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish College located in Melbourne's leafy inner South-Eastern suburbs. We are seeking a dedicated and engaging English Teacher for a full-time position covering Years 8–11, commencing as soon as possible.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver high-impact English lessons that align with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE standards, fostering strong literacy and analytical skills
  • Implement differentiated learning strategies that cater to a high-achieving student body, encouraging student voice and creative expression
  • Cultivate a safe and empowering classroom atmosphere where students feel motivated to explore diverse perspectives
  • Work closely with a dynamic English faculty to design modern learning experiences and share best practices

Requirements:

  • Valid VIT Registration (Victorian Institute of Teaching)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education
  • Respectful of the school’s Modern Orthodox Jewish ethos
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum with the ability to prepare junior students for the rigours of senior secondary success
  • An adaptable and collaborative professional committed to the holistic wellbeing of their students
