English Teacher | Inspire the Next Generation (KS3 & KS4) Role: Temporary English Teacher (Full-Time) Salary: £140 - £233 Per Day Contract: Fixed Term Are you ready to turn the page on your next career chapter? We are seeking a wordsmith, a literature lover, and a high-impact educator to join our forward-thinking English Department. Whether you're dissecting Macbeth or masterminding creative writing workshops, we want an English Teacher who makes every comma count. This is a full-time, temporary role for a dedicated professional ready to take full ownership of KS3 and KS4 classes within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan & Deliver: Create high-quality, engaging English lessons that raise attainment
  • Assess: Use formative and summative data to ensure no student falls behind
  • Engage: Act as a Form Tutor and contribute to the vibrant life of our school
  • Collaborate: Contribute to innovative Schemes of Work

Requirements:

  • Qualified: You hold QTS and a degree in English (or a closely related field)
  • Experienced: You have a proven track record of delivering the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
  • Engaging: You possess the classroom management skills to keep 30 students hooked on a narrative
  • Safe: You are 100% committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare
