Alternatively, we offer long-term placements paying £150 - £220 per day for maternity or contract vacancies. These roles include full planning, prep, and departmental duties, reflecting a higher rate for your professional expertise.
Job Responsibility:
Design and execute captivating English Language and Literature lessons that challenge and support every student
Track, evaluate, and report on pupil development with constructive feedback that meets school guidelines
Foster a vibrant classroom atmosphere while maintaining a disciplined and focused learning culture
Partner with staff on handovers, shared resources, and student progress updates
Integrate seamlessly into the school's daily operations while following all internal policies
Requirements:
Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree specifically in English
Demonstrated experience teaching English through Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
High level of flexibility to implement existing lesson plans and establish quick rapport
A commanding classroom presence paired with top-notch behavior management skills
A valid Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or a commitment to process a new one)
