Job Description:

An Outstanding school in Wandsworth is looking for an English Teacher / English ECT to join their team in January 2026 on a permanent contract. The school routinely achieves some of the best results in English in London without placing pressure on teachers, instead investing in more staff to improve planning time and morale. Opportunities for TLR roles, mentorships, and training are available alongside clear career progression routes.

Job Responsibility:

Teach across KS3,4, and option for KS5
Plan your lessons to meet the Curriculum for Excellence national guidance
Work with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons.

Requirements:

Must have UK Qualified Teacher Status
Strong understanding of teaching standards
English related degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from reputable university
Ambitious and driven personality
Great communication skills
Desire to progress.
