Job Description:

English Teacher | Inspire the Next Generation (KS3 & KS4). Role: Temporary English Teacher (Full-Time). Are you ready to turn the page on your next career chapter? We are seeking a wordsmith, a literature lover, and a high-impact educator to join our forward-thinking English Department. Whether you're dissecting Macbeth or masterminding creative writing workshops, we want an English Teacher who makes every comma count. This is a full-time, temporary role for a dedicated professional ready to take full ownership of KS3 and KS4 classes within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan & Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons that raise attainment
  • Assess using formative and summative data to ensure no student falls behind
  • Engage as a Form Tutor and contribute to the vibrant life of the school
  • Collaborate to contribute to innovative Schemes of Work

Requirements:

  • QTS
  • degree in English (or closely related field)
  • proven track record of delivering the National Curriculum at KS3 and KS4
  • classroom management skills
  • 100% committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare
