Are you a Teacher who believes that the right book at the right time can change the trajectory of a student's life? Can you bridge the gap between the classic power of a Shakespearean soliloquy and the sharp relevance of modern rhetoric, inspiring students to find their own voices through the written word? We are seeking a dynamic and insightful Qualified English Teacher to join a high-performing Secondary School in Cambridge. This is a full-time, long-term role for a practitioner who is as passionate about dissecting complex narratives as they are about perfecting the technical precision of student writing. Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver an ambitious English curriculum that spans across diverse genres, historical periods, and global perspectives

Prepare GCSE and A-Level cohorts for their final assessments (AQA/Edexcel), providing high-quality feedback that transforms C-grade efforts into A-star achievements
Nurture the creative writing skills of your students, encouraging them to experiment with form, voice, and structure in both fiction and non-fiction
Collaborate with the wider school team to promote a "reading for pleasure" culture and support students with varying levels of literacy and English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Lead or support clubs such as debating, creative writing, or the school magazine, extending the learning beyond the standard classroom walls
