Long-Term English Teacher for a high-performing secondary school in the PL11 area. This is a long-term assignment starting ASAP and running through the full academic year. You will become a core member of the English faculty, enjoying a term-time-only schedule.
Job Responsibility:
Consistent Learning: Deliver a structured English Language and Literature curriculum
Exam Preparation: Provide critical support for Year 11 cohorts as they approach their GCSEs
Relationship Building: Use the 'long-term' nature of the role to build the trust and rapport necessary to engage 'hard-to-reach' learners
Collaborative Planning: Work alongside the department head to adapt schemes of work
