An exciting opportunity to combine outstanding teaching at IGCSE and IBDP levels with the chance to shape the department’s curriculum and drive innovation. The successful candidate will inspire a love for language and literature, promote academic excellence, and foster creativity and critical thinking within the department.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across IGCSE and IBDP levels
Foster creativity and critical thinking by integrating literature and language across the curriculum
Track, evaluate, and report on student progress
Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support interdisciplinary learning
Utilize digital tools and platforms to enhance the teaching and learning experience
Contribute to the broader school community by supporting events, workshops, and parent engagement activities

Requirements:

A degree in English or a related subject
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
Proven experience teaching English at IGCSE and IBDP levels
A track record of excellent student outcomes
A passion for English literature and language
A commitment to promoting creativity, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity
Confidence in integrating technology into lessons
A collaborative approach
