English Teachers Wanted in Birkenhead, Wirral! Whether you are newly qualified and eager to make a meaningful start, or an experienced teacher looking for a rewarding role at the heart of the community, we have the perfect opportunity waiting for you. We are looking for passionate educators to join our partner secondary schools across Birkenhead (CH41, CH42) and the surrounding Wirral areas.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing and delivering lessons for Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9), GCSE (Years 10-11), and potentially A-Level (Years 12-13). This includes teaching grammar, creative writing, and literary analysis
  • Adapting teaching materials to suit a wide range of abilities
  • Marking books, grading mock exams, and providing constructive feedback to help students improve
  • Attending "Parents Evenings" to discuss academic progress and writing termly reports for every student you teach
  • Foster an inclusive environment where students from all backgrounds can excel

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status- QTS or QTLS
  • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (on update service check) OR willingness to get one
  • Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
