We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team in January 2026. This role is ideal for an educator who is committed to delivering high-quality English language instruction and supporting students in developing strong communication skills across speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver lessons with clear objectives and assessments
Set challenging tasks to maintain interest and build on prior attainment
Cater to individual student needs and maintain lesson structure, pace and motivation
Use diverse teaching methods, including questioning, resource selection and study skill development
Ensure effective use of time, assessments and school policies on discipline, behaviour and homework
Contribute to curriculum development with clear targets and success criteria
Act as class tutor, supporting the progress and well-being of students
Register attendance, encourage participation and address individual student concerns
Prepare reports and action plans and communicate with staff about student needs
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area or B.Ed.
Post Graduate Certificate of Education or a certificate of equivalence
Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching English Teaching experience
Experience in using ICT to enhance teaching and learning
Ability to set clear expectations and stretch goals
A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area
Ability to judge learning effectiveness
Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset
Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare
