We are recruiting across a wide network of secondary schools (KS3-KS5) where your passion for literature and language can truly flourish.

Job Responsibility:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in English Language and Literature across specified Key Stages (e.g., KS3 and GCSE)
  • Assessment and Feedback: Mark and assess student work accurately and promptly, providing high-quality, actionable feedback that drives improvement
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a purposeful and positive learning environment, upholding high standards of behaviour and respect
  • Student Support: Track student progress, identify learning barriers, and implement targeted interventions (e.g., literacy support) to help all students achieve their potential
  • Collaboration: Attend departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and work closely with colleagues and parents

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
  • Commitment to student progress and safeguarding
