Job Description:

Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a supportive School community. This ambitious and forward-thinking secondary School offers an excellent teaching environment and is committed to academic excellence. As part of the English department, you'll have the chance to inspire and shape young minds through literature and language.

Job Responsibility:

Create dynamic and thought-provoking English lessons that adhere to the national curriculum standards
Cultivate a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking among students
Observe student progress, provide insightful feedback, and help them unlock their full potential
Create a supportive and attentive classroom atmosphere where every student feels respected and appreciated
Collaborate with team members to enrich the department and support School-wide efforts.

Requirements:

A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) in English
Previous experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and key Stage 4 (KS4) levels
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student's growth, both academically and personally
Skilled in fostering a positive and disciplined classroom atmosphere
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
Two professional references from recent teaching positions.
