Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver a knowledge-rich English curriculum that challenges students to think critically and communicate powerfully
Assess and monitor student attainment, providing clear, actionable feedback that helps every child reach their full potential
Maintain a stimulating and organized learning environment that celebrates student work and academic curiosity
Contribute to the wider life of the academy, including extracurricular debate clubs, creative writing workshops, and theatre trips
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong undergraduate degree in English Literature, Language, or a related field
A proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative lessons that secure excellent progress at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is a plus)
A passion for reading: The ability to inspire a diverse student body and foster a genuine love for books and theatre
