Job Description:

A vibrant secondary school in Crosby is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their department immediately. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or an ambitious ECT, if you can inspire a love for the written word, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

Plan & Deliver: Create engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 English
Assess: Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students reach their target grades
Engage: Foster a classroom environment where students feel confident exploring texts and writing creatively
Collaborate: Work alongside a supportive English department to maintain high standards of learning

Requirements:

QTS/QTLS: Qualified Teacher Status is essential
Subject Passion: A degree in English or a related subject
DBS: An enhanced DBS check (ideally on the Update Service for an immediate start)
Availability: Ready to interview and start ASAP
