Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join our Summer Camp team. This role goes beyond classroom teaching and requires full participation in camp life. The teacher will deliver engaging English lessons while actively supervising campers, supporting their well-being, and contributing to a safe, positive, and enriching camp experience. Working closely with the Head of Department and camp staff, the teacher will help create a dynamic and inclusive learning and living environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons
  • Actively supervise campers throughout the day, including during lessons, activities, meals, breaks, and excursions
  • Support campers’ language development, social interaction, and overall well-being
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and communicative atmosphere both in and outside the classroom
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Department and the wider camp team
  • Participate fully in daily camp routines, interdisciplinary activities, and special events
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to planning and reflection
  • Ensure camper safety, engagement, and positive behavior at all times, acting as a positive role model

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Languages, Communication, or a related field
  • Experience teaching English (camp or international experience preferred)
  • Strong classroom management and supervision skills
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and care for learners of different ages and levels
  • Flexible, responsible, proactive, and enthusiastic about working in a camp environment
