Job Responsibility
Delivering literacy interventions to individuals and small groups
Supporting pupils with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and comprehension
Assisting with phonics sessions and early literacy development
Supporting pupils who require additional academic support
Helping children develop confidence in communication and language skills
Assisting teachers in preparing engaging literacy resources and activities
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
Supporting wider classroom learning across the curriculum
Requirements
An English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related degree from a UK university
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent literacy skills and attention to detail
A genuine passion for education and child development
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A proactive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude
