We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified EAL / English Support Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. In this role, you will support students in developing their English language proficiency and academic literacy, enabling them to thrive across all subjects and confidently engage in their learning journey. The purpose of this role is to support students with a low level of English proficiency (A1–B1) by working with them in small groups to help develop their academic English and enable them to succeed across the curriculum. The role may be part-time or full-time, depending on availability and need and will work with students from Grade 1 to Grade 10.

Plan and deliver lessons with appropriate pace, challenge, and creativity, integrating technology to enhance learning
Provide constructive, transparent feedback and maintain regular communication with parents
Create a safe, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that prioritises student well-being
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence and continuous improvement
Uphold professional standards, contribute to the school’s mission, and engage in ongoing professional development
Requirements:
A relevant degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
A valid teaching qualification (e.g. TEFL, CELTA, PGCE etc)
Experience teaching EAL or English support in international settings
Demonstrated passion for language education and student development
To communicate effectively and work collaboratively
To be organised, reflective, and student-focused
A native or near-native command of English
To be committed to safeguarding and student welfare
