Job Description

Justteachers is seeking an Drama & English Teacher who is looking for a Long term role, in a Secondary school in the Grange over Sands area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence after the easter holidays covering with the school for the full summer term. This is a well regarded school with a close knit community feel. Learning takes place in a respectful and supportive environment, with a strong focus on enrichment and personal development. Staff are encouraged to contribute ideas and take an active role in school life.

Job Responsibility

  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Drama and English curriculum
  • Leading practical workshops and performances
  • Assessing practical and written work
  • Supporting school productions and events

Requirements

  • QTS or relevant UK teaching qualification
  • Background in drama or performing arts
  • Experience leading practical performance lessons
  • Strong ability to engage and motivate learners
