This position is 3rd shift - approximate working hours are 11:00pm-7:00am, Sunday night through Thursday night.
Job Responsibility:
Provides Engineering support to the Manufacturing groups to troubleshoot, and improve/maximize the performance of equipment and processes
Electrical – Troubleshoots automation equipment through PLC, servo, robotics, HMI/MMI, and related process control and automation systems
Mechanical – Troubleshoots mechanical equipment associated with automation and manufacturing processes
Manages medium scope projects from inception to completion
Installs, validates and put into production equipment modifications and capital projects
Performs hardware/software modifications, and documents system functional specification updates while adhering to documentation and change control requirements
Electrical - Prepares standard operating procedures for new and existing automation and process control equipment
Mechanical - Prepares standard operating procedures for new and existing mechanical equipment related to automation
Manages the cost estimating of medium scoped process improvements and medium capital budget items as well as the spending of approved project funds
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Project Management, or Engineering Technology and 1+ years of experience
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong Project Management Skills
Ability to read and develop mechanical blueprints
Strong computer skills with experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, CAD software, and MS Project or related software
Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings
Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
