Job Description:

Work with machines, processes, design to develop technical documents for the department. Conduct machine and process research to develop various product/process quotes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement various technical documents for the department
  • Research and evaluate machines / equipment, manufacturing processes, customer requirements and other performance criteria to develop quotes for new potential business, utilizing knowledge of materials and parts, fabrication, tooling and equipment capabilities
  • Confer with cost estimation, production, and maintenance to analyze process improvements, space requirements, workflow, design layout of equipment and workspace to provide quote information
  • Participate in the development of new and / or modified production projects and participate in various steps of the implementation
  • Develop documentation to meet anticipated new project requirements with various machines / equipment
  • Plan and direct various on site and off site testing for new machines / equipment as necessary
  • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines as necessary
  • Provide training to various departments as necessary
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP and GCP policies, procedures, rules
  • Able to use various measurement devices such as a ruler, caliper and 32nds / 64ths scale
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position
  • This position may require overtime and / or weekend work
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager / Supervisor / Director

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training
  • Statistical and Advanced Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs
  • High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal
  • Pharmaceutical Experience
