We are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with both mechanical and electrical capability to join our team at our Hull site. Reporting to the Engineering Maintenance Manager, you will play a hands on role in keeping our plant and equipment running safely and efficiently throughout the night shift. This is a practical role where your mechanical and electrical expertise will make a real difference every shift.
Job Responsibility:
Carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding, repairs and installations
Complete planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
Work safely and follow best practice engineering standards
Adapt to changing priorities to keep production running smoothly
Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards
Share knowledge and support colleagues across the shift
Keep accurate maintenance records
Support preventive maintenance planning within SAP
Requirements:
Experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or production environment
Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding capability
Experience installing and commissioning equipment
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
A recognised engineering qualification such as ONC, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Confidence using SAP and Microsoft Office tools
Nice to have:
Counterbalance FLT, MEWP or IOSH certification
