Job Responsibility:
Perform nonroutine and complex inspection assignments involving Flight hardware, GSE and the manufacturing of flight and GSE hardware
Inspects major units, devices, or equipment
validates work performed on installations, tests or experiments
Assists in inspection tests to evaluate equipment performance
Demonstrates extensive proficiency within expertise and ability to mentor less experienced technicians and engineers
Under direction of the engineering staff, applies engineering principles and theories in inspecting, testing, and modifying equipment both flight and GSE
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training in the applicable area of expertise, and required certifications and 13 years of related experience and technical training and certification as required across all areas of industry accepted disciplines for the technical support to aerospace systems and equipment
