Job Description:

Engineering Technician for Automation will support implementation and testing of automation systems for our manufacturing operations. Performs repair and maintenance associated with manufacturing and assembly. Troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, and/or rough sketches or drawings. May perform equipment modification as directed by test/manufacturing engineers.

Job Responsibility:

Supports implementation and testing of automation systems for manufacturing operations
Performs repair and maintenance associated with manufacturing and assembly
Troubleshoots problems in non-functioning equipment
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals
Performs equipment modification as directed by test/manufacturing engineers

Requirements:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience
Working knowledge in the field of electro mechanical technology and software
Experience with repair and maintenance associated with manufacturing and assembly
Troubleshooting problems in non-functioning equipment
Ability to dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals
Equipment modification as directed by test/manufacturing engineers
