Job Responsibility

  • Perform testing, check-out, and troubleshooting using schematics, diagrams, descriptions, layouts, or defined plans
  • Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems
  • Inspect materials, components, or products for surface defects and measure circuitry, using electronic test equipment, precision measuring instruments, microscope, and standard procedures
  • Conduct operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment help in determining methods to remedy malfunctions
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators and specialized test apparatus
  • Collaborates with development engineers creating, designing, and troubleshooting prototypes and models

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of related experience
  • Firsthand experience with installation, maintenance, repair, testing, or troubleshooting of equipment or electronics
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal, in English
  • Proficient in utilizing computer-based data systems, applications, and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to work a shift schedule

Nice to have

  • Associates degree, Technical Certificate, Diploma or higher in a technical field
  • Experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, metrology, lab operations, or related areas
  • Experience in semiconductor experience is a plus
