We’re looking for a skilled and passionate Engineering Technical Instructor to join our Engineering Training team. In this role, you’ll design, deliver, and maintain high-quality technical and practical training programmes for licensed and unlicensed engineers, mechanics, and apprentices. You’ll ensure all training meets EASA/UK-CAA Part-147 and Part-145 regulatory standards, supporting both initial qualification and ongoing competence development. From classroom instruction to hands-on assessments, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our engineering workforce, while collaborating with internal teams and contributing to continuous improvement across our training operations.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in line with EASA/UK-CAA Part-147 and Part-145 requirements, including aircraft type and basic licence module courses
Facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences, managing the classroom environment and supporting learners throughout the duration of each course
Conduct formative and summative assessments, maintain accurate training records, and support examination and competence development processes
Assist in the design and continuous improvement of training materials, ensuring alignment with current aircraft fleet, maintenance practices, and regulatory standards
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal quality procedures, participating in audits and supporting standardisation across the training team
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet operational training needs, and support delivery across multiple locations as required
Requirements:
Hold an EASA/UK-CAA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence (B1 and/or B2), or an Aeronautical Apprenticeship and recognised qualifications in Maths, English, and Physics
Possess a recognised instructional or training qualification (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education & Training, CertEd, or equivalent)
Experience delivering aircraft type or basic licence module training in a Part-147 environment or hands-on experience within a Part-145 maintenance organisation
Proven ability to work in highly compliant environments, with strong documentation and regulatory awareness
Confident and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism
IT literate and confident in learning and using relevant systems
