Job Description

Zest have teamed up with a highly established manufacturing company. Due to a growth in the business, they are now looking to take on an experienced engineering team leader to manage the day-to-day operations on site.

Job Responsibility

  • Working closely with the engineering manager to lead and manage the day to day running of the maintenance team
  • Attend both planned and reactive maintenance of food processing machinery
  • Provide support and guidance to engineers and the operations team
  • Offer support and guidance on breakdowns and offering backing when needed
  • Complete shift handovers, update breakdown boards, and create reports for effective transitions

Requirements

  • City & Guilds/Level 3 NVQ minimum in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience managing others in a fast-paced production environment, including performance management
  • Background in working with food or manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
