As a Team Lead at Keepit, you’ll manage a team of 5–8 engineers, overseeing delivery, performance, and team growth while nurturing talent. In this role, you’ll be driving innovation, shaping architecture, and promoting engineering best practices across the team.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate with a high level of autonomy, driving the team roadmap and delivering value towards your product area
  • Drive technical excellence and ensure reliable delivery of the team, working closely together with Product Managers and Delivery Managers
  • Guide discussions on a technical level and your are still expected to contribute to the codebase
  • Align engineering priorities with product and business goals
  • Stay connected to the broader company strategy, bringing a "big picture" mindset to technical and cross-functional decisions
  • Coach engineers through regular feedback, goal-setting, and career development conversations
  • Help define individual growth paths, encouraging skill development through mentoring and learning opportunities
  • Build a supportive team culture, fostering psychological safety, inclusion and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, driving ownership and technical excellence
  • Ability to align technical direction with product and business goals, influencing architectural decisions across the team
  • Experience with at least one of the following programming languages or frameworks — C++, Common Lisp, JavaScript, TypeScript, or React
  • Experience coaching engineers, conducting performance reviews, and supporting individual growth
  • Proven ability to cultivate a supportive, inclusive team environment that promotes psychological safety, shared ownership, and open communication
