Hands on maintenance with ability to maximize machine reliability and throughput while supporting new projects. A self starter with initiative to drive the team forward in a co-operative yet assertive manner. Ability to synthesise information from various sources and analyse and decide on a course of action.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure team has carried out all planned tasks such as PM’s and work orders
Monitor employees' work levels and review work performance on an ongoing basis
Raise purchase requisitions through the CMMS
Ensure full adherence all team members on their safety training
Assist in various projects
Train team members where necessary
Provide feedback for employee reviews
Assist Facility Manager in any tasks required
Ensure CAPA's are complete
Ensure team’s time keeping is punctual and report any issues
Attend or delegate responsible person to attend the breakdown / production support
Attend / Chair meetings when necessary
Initiation of deviations or Assist in the Investigation of deviations and report feedback to the business review manager
Assist or delegate an Engineer to assist in the validation of equipment
Compile work for shutdown and ensure all parts required for work are on site
Ensure shift cover
Assisting the apprentice on his project work
Ad hoc duties to suit the business requirements
Must ensure the team adhere to the LOTO procedure
Team lead will be a permit issuer so must ensure all at risk work has been assessed and a permit issued and signed off
Requirements:
Mentoring & coaching skills
Highly motivated with proven ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Trades background and at least 5 years team leader experience in a GMP environment
Engineering degree - Level 7
