Job Description:

An established FMCG business in Peterborough is seeking a fully qualified, multi-skilled Engineering Supervisor to lead and inspire their engineering team. This is a hands-off leadership role: you'll focus on managing, coaching, and supporting your team, stepping in for technical work when needed. We're looking for a down-to-earth, proactive people person-someone who leads by example, works alongside their team, and builds a positive, collaborative environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled multi-disciplinary engineering team
  • Manage priorities, schedules, and team performance
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support when necessary
  • Ensure smooth maintenance and production operations
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified multi-skilled engineer (mechanical/electrical)
  • Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor
  • Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience in FMCG/manufacturing preferred
  • Positive, proactive, and approachable team player
