Engineering Stores Manager

• Inventory Management: Lead periodic cycle counts, yearly stock takes, and manage the identification and location of all engineering stock
• Procurement Support: Work closely with the Engineering Purchaser to source alternative suppliers, manage lead times, and negotiate costs to drive value
• Operational Excellence: Maintain an organized, tidy stores area with clear standards for engineers to follow
• Technical Oversight: Manage the repair/rewind of high-value stock and ensure spare parts for new factory equipment are provisioned correctly
• System Accuracy: Utilize IT systems (including Excel and CMMS) to track KPIs, raise PO numbers, and manage stock levels of slow-moving items
• Compliance: Ensure full adherence to Health & Safety (ISO 45001) and Food Safety standards, including risk assessments and PPE compliance

• At least 3+ years in a Stores Management or Senior Inventory role, specifically within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Ability to identify and source "like-for-like" engineering components and spare parts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills are essential) and experience with stock management software/CMMS
• A "can-do" attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead a small team
• Experience in food manufacturing is highly advantageous but not essential
