Job Responsibility
Receive engineering spare parts, tools, and materials
Check deliveries against purchase orders, delivery notes, and specifications
Inspect items for quantity, quality, and damage
Report shortages, damages, or incorrect items
Properly store materials according to type, usage, and safety standards
Label and organize shelves, bins, and racks
Maintain bin cards, stock cards, or system records
Issue spare parts, tools, and consumables based on authorized requisitions
Ensure correct quantities and specifications are issued
Record all issues accurately to maintain stock accuracy
Monitor stock levels and identify minimum/maximum stock limits
Prevent stock-outs or over-stocking
Inform supervisors or planners about reorder needs
Assist with monthly or annual stock counts (physical inventory)
Maintain accurate records for goods received, goods issued, stock balances
Update computerized inventory systems or manual ledgers
File delivery notes, invoices, and requisition forms properly
Manage issuance and return of tools
Track tool usage to reduce loss, damage, or misuse
Ensure tools are cleaned and stored correctly after use
Keep the store clean, organized, and safe
Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and environmental regulations
Store hazardous materials according to safety guidelines
Provide timely materials to maintenance, production, and engineering teams
Assist during breakdowns and urgent maintenance activities
Coordinate with planners, buyers, and engineers
Prevent theft, loss, or unauthorized access to materials
Ensure store is locked and access is controlled
Report discrepancies immediately
Prepare stock status reports
Highlight slow-moving, obsolete, or critical spares
Support audits and management inspections
Requirements
Diploma or Level IV/V in Engineering, Store Management, or a related technical field
Atleast 2 years Experience in Engineering/Maintenace/Industrial Warehouse or Store
Basic engineering materials knowledge
Inventory management skills
Record-keeping and attention to detail
Basic computer skills (ERP / SAP / Excel is an advantage)
