Job Description:

Responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of high complexity technology solutions; leads the technology vision of the team and integrates technology into products while providing technical guidance in high-impact projects.

Job Responsibility:

  • Applies technical competencies in very difficult situations for new product projects
  • Organizes and leads cross-functional teams in developing creative solutions to problems
  • Leads the technology vision of the team
  • integrates technology into the product
  • Drives decisions on patent strategy and technology roadmaps to support business objectives
  • Provides technical guidance and risk mitigation to teams
  • Considers industry trends in creating new methods for planning, designing and carrying out programs and initiatives while influencing the company's strategic plan to support global goals & objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 12 years of experience (minimum 5)
  • Experience in manufacturing of soft goods - foam and coated fabrics
  • Knowledge and experience utilizing standard test methods for fabrics
  • Knowledge and experience in coated fabric manufacturing is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in welding of coated fabrics
  • Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
