Job Description

Responsible for leading an engineering shift team and ensuring the site operates safely, reliably, and efficiently at all times. Working a Panama shift pattern, you will coordinate engineering activities, balancing planned maintenance with reactive work to support production and minimise downtime. You’ll take ownership of maintenance planning through the CMMS (AGILITY), manage external contractors, and drive improvements that enhance equipment performance and site availability. Developing your team is a core focus, alongside embedding a strong safety culture and ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved. The position also involves overseeing spare parts and inventory, delivering improvement projects, and organising equipment refurbishments and overhauls. You may occasionally be required to cover other shift leaders or act as deputy to the Maintenance Manager.
