Job Description:

The CTI Enterprise Analytics Services (EAS) organization provides strategic platforms with Data & Analytics technologies for Citi lines of businesses that are used globally to create business critical applications. The role requires working with engineering & support teams, data owners and data scientist from application teams to support data and analytics projects, identify gaps and add platform features to help with process automation, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and service delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Provide technical and architectural vision for a critical automation framework focused on platform and service provisioning
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with the overall organization roadmap
Responsible for the entire software development lifecycle from design and analysis to issue management and final delivery
Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
Continuously evaluate and upgrade to industry leading tools and technologies stack
Proactively explore and adopt AI-based solutions to enhance team productivity
Lead and mentor a large development team spread across multiple geo-locations and time zones
Navigate complex stakeholder relationships and foster collaboration
Champion and drive the implementation of robust Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
Lead the team in cloud adoption and automation for service provisioning on platforms like GCP, AWS, and OpenAI
Design and implement a centralized observability solution to automatically collect and consume platform and service utilization metrics

Requirements:

15+ years of experience in product/framework development, design, and team leadership
Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
Deep technical expertise in modern microservices architecture and container orchestration using OpenShift and Kubernetes
Hands-on proficiency with technology stack including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, MongoDB, Terraform, and Ansible
Strong experience in implementing and driving SRE practices
Knowledge on cloud platforms and experience with provisioning automation on GCP, AWS, and/or OpenAI (GenAI provisioning as IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
Ability to explore and integrate AI technologies to improve development processes and time to market
Experience in designing and building centralized observability solutions and a solid understanding of metrics collection
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Experience in large scale data warehouse implementations and knowledge of ETL technologies
Experience with virtualization and containerization
Experience in creating Ansible playbooks
Master's degree preferred
