The Projects Engineering Specialist has the overall responsibility for delivering Projects identified by the Cost Deployment Pillar, Innovation and Masterplan.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliance to Safety and Occupational Health procedures
Ensure compliance to environmental policy
Ensures compliance to GMP and HACCP
Participates in QBO program
Follow prescribed work procedures and company safety rules and regulations
Compliance to company COBP, CR&R
Compliance to the GMP and GHK rules of the plant
Deliver targets/KPIs as aligned with his/her Line Manager
Participates in Focused Improvement activities
Executes agreed Focused Improvement actions
Raises improvement activities (OFI) and OPL
Validates results and effectiveness of Focused Improvement activities via real time observations
Prepare User Requirement Specification (URS) to be used for Bidding
Prepare Request for Proposal (RFP), Technical Recommendation Letter (TRL), Notice to Proceed (NTP) for all Projects procurement transaction
Create Purchase Requisition (PR) via Ariba, Coupa or SAP and coordinate closely with Procurement team to convert to Purchase Order (PO)
Monitor and ensure on time delivery of PO. Coordinate closely with vendor and Port-clearing
Performs Good Receipt (GR) and ensure 100% GR forecast compliance
Creates Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for New CapEx
Creates Management of Change (MOC) and secure approval to all stakeholders
Coordinate to all stakeholders from start of the project up to end of the project
Coordinate to inter-department (Electrical, Mechanical & Utilities) from conceptualization to turnover of the projects
Prepare and maintain MP Information database
Prepare Project Network
Lead the Projects installation and commissioning
Secure IQ, OQ, PQ FAT/SAT Checklist
Ensure all Project compliance to Machinery Safety standards and Hygienic Plant Standard
Conduct and lead the training for New Equipment Operation and Maintenance
Prepare the Project to Asset capitalization
Update P&ID & Factory Layout affected by the Projects
Send daily progress report for all projects
Work with other Pillars on improvement related projects
Member of Early Equipment Management Pillar
Able to operate simple gadgets such as smart phone and iPad
Learn and adapt to digital tools as required by the Company
Participates in training and other ad hoc activities as required by the Company
Requirements:
Minimum Technical Course or 4-year Engineering Course
Project Management Skills
Excellent knowledge of Unilever and SHE Standards
Good knowledge of Manufacturing and Process Safety
Influencing, Good Observation, and Auditing Skills
Engineering course preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and Industrial
Experience in Supply Chain operations
Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience
Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management
