Job Description:

This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office. The Product & Engineering Business Operations team works across all teams at HPE to drive and enable growth of the business. We lead mission critical, cross-functional efforts, deliver objective analysis and insights, incubate new roles, and execute on strategic initiatives. As a member of the Business Operations team, you will be a strategic business partner driving data-oriented decisions in collaboration with cross-functional leadership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Partner with global account and sales teams with specific focus on APAC region to funnel the customer contracts requests
  • Understand the country specific bid requirements and help align the requests per HPE policy
  • Advise business, legal and technical colleagues on a broad range of contract subject areas, including right type of requests, general, technical, commercial and legal topics
  • Ensure timely review and approvals of contracts meeting SLAs and reconciliation of variations partnering with relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation, Executive dashboard, contractual changes and status reports
  • Handle on-going issues, monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, reporting etc.,) and change management
  • Ensure contracts extension, renewal and close-out upon delivery
  • Build and improve contracts process, create playbooks and related knowledge management

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Business, Engineering, or similar field
  • HPE product knowledge is a big plus
  • 10+ years of industry experience, demonstrates solid knowledge of PMI PMBOK, Project Management techniques and approaches
  • Conversant with contract and negotiation principles in the business and legal context, including a working knowledge of revenue recognition rules
  • Knowledge of HPE Exception Customer Contracts System is big plus
  • Knowledge of products and product line life cycles, familiarity with engineering development teams and processes
  • High integrity, well organized and able to manage customers simultaneously under end of quarter deadline pressure
  • Clear and concise written and oral communication skills and experience in working closely with both internal clients and customers/partners
  • Experience in instituting new tools, resources and hacks to increase effectiveness and productivity of cross functional teams
  • Ability to influence others in a group as well as conduct negotiations in a professional manner
  • Must be flexible and able to react promptly
  • You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy big picture vision
