This role owns the R&D site operating model and its continuous evolution toward faster, more automated, more measurable, and more competitive software delivery
The EPP Manager is accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving the R&D site operating model
The EPP Manager is the accountable owner, enforcer, and approver of processes, delegating the design and implementation
Owner, champion, and guardian of all operational processes within the development cycle
Owner of the "Speed" – roadmap and WoW
To make sure we stay fast and lightweight at the right quality/productivity balance
Leverage AI and other productivity tooling to maximize performance and quality with an industry-leading ambition
Drive an "automation-first" mindset
Develop roadmap targets
Owner and guardian of E2E lifecycle processes
QA and Dev methodology processes
Release Qualification and Release Management processes
Follow required standards and keep a common framework for all workstreams, including reporting, KPI's, and metrics
Enforce the "Speed" mindset and roadmap across the E2E lifecycle
Owner of Organizational collaboration processes, such as cross-team coordination and architectural cross-collaboration
Development framework Owner (Currently "Program Increments")
Accountable for how the organization absorbs and responds to external changes, late requests, vehicle-project curveballs, platform updates, shifting release priorities, and dependency changes
Own the model for handling unplanned work, roadmap shifts, and external change triggers
Ensure fast impact assessment, prioritization, decision-making, escalation, and resolution
Maintain transparency and traceability of change decisions across affected workstreams
Improve organizational ability to absorb volatility at speed without compromising quality or control
Requirements
Change-oriented operational leader with strong experience from software R&D, preferably in automotive, infotainment, connected products, or similarly complex environments
Strong background in software development lifecycle, QA, release, planning, and cross-functional delivery processes
Proven experience driving change, process transformation, and engineering productivity improvements in complex organizations
Strong automation-first mindset, with practical understanding of how AI and productivity tooling can improve speed, quality, transparency, and decision-making
Ability to manage roadmap volatility, late changes, dependencies, and priority conflicts through lightweight but effective governance
Skilled in KPI-driven improvement, stakeholder alignment, escalation, and steering-group communication
