Job Description

The Engineering Planner creates PCB production sequences using InPlan/InStack, performs DFM reviews, and ensures adherence to customer specs and industry standards. This role requires technical expertise, problem solving, and strong communication to support production and customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Work in the Front-end Engineering and creates step sequence to produce PCBs
  • Develop impedance stack-ups
  • Provide tooling instructions to CAM operators
  • Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews on customer designs and spec summaries
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC) and customer requirements

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Associates or 2 year technical degree)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in PCB planning, product engineering, and/or tooling engineering
  • Familiarity with standard manufacturing design rules, IPC standards, and CAD/CAM systems
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and resolve technical issues
  • Must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident

  • Build and maintain a credible, achievable weekly maintenance schedule aligned to site priorities, labour availability and operational constraints
  • Lead the weekly scheduling process, ensuring clear communication, challenge and commitment from Engineering, Operations and key stakeholders
