Engineering Operations Supervisor Aircraft Engineering Services (AES Ltd) are inviting applications for an Engineering Operations Supervisor to be based at Stansted Airport (STN), working in cooperation with our client Ryanair, Europe's largest airline. Duties & Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the UK Outstations Manager as part of the UK Management Team, the successful candidate will support in the leadership and management of Ryanair's 11 UK Engineering Line Stations and a team of 150+ technical staff. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Management of Routine Maintenance, Aircraft Incidents/AOG's and Third Party Liaison. Manpower planning, recruitment and staff performance management. Ensuring appropriate spares, tooling and facilities are available at each location. Conducting regular visits to Line Stations across the UK, ensuring staff welfare and regulatory compliance. Investigating Maintenance Delays, Engineering Safety Reports and Non-Compliances, implementing strategies to prevent recurrence. Requirements Qualifications and Experience: We are looking for an ambitious, driven and capable individual who is able to lead technical teams in a diverse and fast-changing environment. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate: Excellent time management, with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities and effectively communicate progress and/or issues to Management. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Technical Qualification (Degree Level or Pt-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence) is essential. Full computer literacy with experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. This role would be well suited to an aspiring Operations Manager who wishes to advance their career in a challenging and rewarding role.
