Position Overview The Engineering Manager holds the responsibility of efficiently managing the engineering team while actively engaging in the development, resolution, and refinement of challenges.
Job Responsibility:
Align strategies with company objectives, productivity, and quality standards
Optimize workflows and implement standard practice improvements
Supervise personnel to ensure goal achievement, safety, and quality compliance
Evaluate team performance through collaborative assessments
Develop and execute work plans and schedules for timely delivery
Achieve quality control targets for all finished products
Conduct one-on-ones to monitor performance and minimize time waste
Facilitate communication and internal team coordination
Report KPIs and operational metrics to management and improvement departments
Promote team development and ensure awareness of training plans
Manage performance with a professional and results-oriented approach
Maintain production standards and identify critical success factors
Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures and product specifications
Requirements:
Work experience of minimum 5 years in a similar work station
University level completed (Industrial engineer, mechanics, etc) with degree
Bilingual Proficiency (English/Spanish)
Personnel management
Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Microsoft management (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Conflict management and solution techniques (8Ds, 5Whys)
